Here is another of my collages. This one was inspired in a fabric pattern I liked. I did different versions of the same design this is the earth tone version.

We have been busy going through some personal, financial, professional, family, and “any other area you can imagine” CHANGES. Like all changes they are bringing many opportunities and exciting brand new scenarios for us to bring out the best in us. I’ve been enjoying the ride all the way. It has been challenging but more fun than anything else. It has kept me busy, busy. I can’t really go into details but I will give you this much I’ll be taking on a whole new job and possibly moving as well, waooo! exciting!

A little bit of what I’ve been doing besides designing and searching for more work:

• Hiking with a new meet-up group.

• Outdoor Salsa dancing.

• Reading “Houston we have a problema”

• Tons of affirmations

And today I’ve been doing my old time favorite…Book Keeping! just kidding, I mean I am doing book keeping but it’s not my favorite thing to do. As I get distracted looking for computer files, I found this. My cat Emma, she loves to have a leg hanging for nap time, so cute

If you have been following this blog for a while, you probably know I own a little Spanish Teaching Company as well. The name: My Spanish Eye. I know what you are thinking. What’s up with the eye thing? -well, it always expresses a vision, our very specific vision, in this case, my vision to teach Spanish in an “Organic” way, that is to say, a way that really matches the student’s personality. If you want to know more about it, go to our website here. If you live in LA and would like to practice, share or listen to more Spanish, you can register FREE for our conversational group here. (or tell your LA friends about it)

Anyways, as you all know, times are challenging, and Spanish is a need for some but a luxury for most. So I decided to expand our marketing “word of mouth” campaign by designing a simple flyer. I think it turn-out very inviting, warm, fresh and playful for the Summer season without being too casual. I will probably do other versions for the different class categories we offer (children, legal, college students tutoring, etc)

I plan to drop them off in strategic Coffee shops, Business buildings, Libraries, Colleges and Schools. If you have any ideas as to where else I should post them or if you know a company or person in Los Angeles in need of classes, I would love to connect with them.
